Isn't it funny how you can spend a fortune on a brand new toy and your child would rather play with the box? Here is a fun rainy day craft that will entertain your child for hours.
Doll House Craft:
several boxes (same size)
Elmer's glue
wallpaper samples
construction paper
assorted material
scissors
pencil
acrylic paints
tape
magazine pictures
Stack the boxes to make a two story house with four rooms. Draw doors and windows on the back side of your house and cut them out. Glue the boxes together. Draw bricks, shutters, flower boxes on the outside of your house and paint. Cut out pictures, wallpaper samples, etc.. to decorate the rooms in your house. Create your own furniture out of misc. items. Make your own dolls or use stuffed animals for play.
