Epsom Salt For Chickens

     I have had chickens for several weeks.  They are getting big but not big enough to be outside on their own.  They are still under the heat lamp.  Last week, I noticed that a couple of my chickens had diarrhea.  I kept an eye on them for a few days and they did not improve.  I sprinkled some Epsom salt in with their feed and this week they all look healthy with no diarrhea.  Epsom salt is something that I always have on hand.  It is an inexpensive ingredient that has many uses.  It works well to keep plants healthy, you can use it in warm water to soak tired feet, it helps strains and bruises, you can use it on your lawn, etc..  I hope this post was helpful.  Have a blessed Tuesday!
