I wanted to share with you a quote from one of my favorite books Little Britches by Ralph Moody. If you have never read this book, you should go out and buy it today. It is a fun book to read with the kids but adults will enjoy it just the same. You won't be able to put it down.
"You know, Son, sometimes a fellow has to take a licking for doing the right thing. A licking only lasts a short while, even if it's a hard one, but failing to do the right thing will often make a mark on a man that will last forever."
In this crazy world that we live in, it is hard to stand up for what is right. This quote is a great reminder of the consequences that come from not doing the right thing.
