Meat Casserole

      This is a flavorful casserole that you can throw together quickly for dinner.  It is very adaptable.  You can change the veggies, meat & seasonings around and it will still taste good.

Meat Casserole:

1/2 onion diced
1 pkg ground beef, sausage, chicken, etc..  (whatever you have on hand)
1 1/2 c wild rice
1 c chopped veggies (broccoli, celery, carrots, etc..)
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 t garlic salt
1/2 t paprika
1 t parsley
3 c broth (chicken or beef)
1 c shredded cheese

In a large skillet brown the meet with the onion.  Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 5-10 minutes.  Pour into a glass dish and bake for 45 minutes to an hour at 350 degrees.  Sprinkle cheese in top and let it melt before serving.
