My dog loves his treats and we love giving them to him. I have several treat recipes but, this one is my favorite. It came out of a children's magazine. We use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make his treats. They are so easy to make that even my daughter can make them by herself.
Dog Treats:
1/2 c flour
1 c whole wheat flour
2/3 c peanut butter
1/4 c oil
3/4 c water
Mix flours, peanut butter, oil & water together in a large bowl. Knead the dough into a ball. Roll it out on a floured surface until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. Bake 18 minutes at 375 degrees.
