My chives have been flourishing this summer. When they get long and beautiful, I cut them and tie them together in a large bunch with twine. I hang them up in my kitchen and wait for them to dry. When they are completely dried, I crumble them up and place them in a glass jar with a lid or in a plastic bag. Dried chives are so nice to have on hand for soups, casseroles, pizza, seasoning meat, etc..
